Towpath upgrade between Wendover and Halton, to enable people of all ages and abilities to use the towpath throughout the year.
Last Sunday a small team of Wendover Canal Trust volunteers placed almost 1000 heavy concrete blocks before lunch.
Three restoration phases: GUC Bulbourne Junction to Little Tring, from Little Tring to Buckland Wharf, then Buckland to Wendover
After a modest start in 1997 work began on the restoration of Wendover canal under the direction of WCT with the support of more than 200 volunteers.
