Pocket Park for Christmas

Volunteers from WCT, IWA and CRT Spruce Up Pocket Park for Christmas Walkers

As the festive season approaches, dedicated volunteers have been hard at work to ensure that the Pocket Park on the Wendover Canal is in pristine condition for Christmas visitors.

Armed with strimmer’s, the volunteers have been attacking the long grass around the benches while diligently working around the young saplings planted over the past years.

This is to ensure the park is ready to welcome everyone.

Families, visitors, and their canine companions are all invited to enjoy the tranquillity of the community Pocket Park over the Christmas holidays.

For those planning a visit, parking is available at Meads Farm shop HP23 4NT, just a 10-minute walk along the towpath.

Please Note:
There is no Public Parking at the CRT Tringford Pumping Station (HP23 4NR)

Whether you’re looking for a peaceful stroll or a fun outing with family and friends, Pocket Park is the perfect destination to experience the joys of the season amidst nature’s splendour.

Come and explore the trail to the site of the Whitehouse pumping station and soak in the outdoor atmosphere, thanks to the tireless efforts of our busy volunteers.
