The volunteers of the Wendover Canal Trust are 3 days into their week-long push to remove more of the ash from the “Tip section” of the Wendover Canal near Little Tring. This has been funded by a grant from Dacorum Borough Council. In the last three days we have sent 46 large lorry-loads to the FCC site at Calvert. The pictures below show the newly excavated section, and our huge hired excavator being expertly driven by our volunteer Will Mathew. We have now added 2 videos of the work, below.
