During the April Tidy Friday event, the Pocket Park grass was mown to encourage the passing public to stop, rest and admire the view from the benches.
The Yellow Rattle seed sown in the Autumn of 2022 has had the desired effect of keeping grass growth at bay. (Photo – below, left)
This will then allow the wild flower growth to take hold.
A Laburnum tree in full yellow flower enhances the edge of the area. (Photo – below, right)
