Well, the forecast did warn us, but we bravely soldiered on, even one in shorts!
The walk was amended so we kept on the towpath to Little Tring, then back and wandered through Whitehouses Pocket Park.
This was to show and explain what had been completed by the Easter IWA Family Camp.
As our walk attendees included twins (age 12), this proved beneficial as they showed interest in joining a camp in the future.
We ended with a well earned cuppa at Meads Farmhouse Kitchen drying off.
The next walk is scheduled for Saturday 3rd June.
When the WCT Volunteers will be on view, down in the cut using plant & equipment to further restore the canal back to water.
They will give up to date details regarding the current methods of working and are always willing to answer questions.
