2002 Newsletters and Work Party News

Autumn 02 says that when the Aston Clinton bypass diversion took place and a section of canal at Drayton Beauchamp was relined by British Waterways, a paddle was to provided on the new section of canal to allow water to be run down a pipe into a stream at Drayton Beauchamp which supplies the ancient moat. This was to replace a previous paddle. Spring 02 includes an article on the Halton Railway, which ran over the bridge which was replaced by a footpath; and a photo of the original Buckland Wharf Canal Bridge where the old A41 crosses the canal.
